PyTorch inplace operation breaks autograd
RuntimeError: one of the variables needed for gradient computation has been modified by an inplace operation
Fixes
- 1.Replace inplace operations (+=, relu_) with out-of-place versions
- 2.Clone the tensor before modifying: x = x.clone()
- 3.Use torch.autograd.set_detect_anomaly(True) to find the exact op
